Ever since John Hersey’s mother plunked him down in front of
the Bugs Bunny TV Show, John has been attempting to contribute to the modern
world's insatiatble appetite for pop iconography. “My goal is to create the
‘intentional mistake quality’ in my illustrations. I never wanted to paint like
Vermeer. I wanted my illustrations to look as contemporary as possible.”
