Andrews’ fashion illustration work turns on strong simple
images with a touch of whimsy. She has
carried over her printmaking training first into the world of giclee prints and
now into her illustration process as well.
"I found that the computer graphic programs were already the same
process as printmaking in that the images are created by layering. The computer
offered the same look but control over color not found in traditional
printmaking."
